  I have been purchasing "hard to find woods" from COOK WOODS for many years. I am a woodturner that has being turning and studying the art for approximately ten years. In the past year I have been invited (or voted into) an Art Gallery, GALLERY 9, in Los Altos, CA, that has been in business since 1970. Now, other than gifts for friends, or for our Church or simply pleasure the quality of the woods I turn is quite important to me and my reputation. When I'm requested to turn a particular species or morph of wood I always check with COOK WOODS first, as I know they will most likely have the species and size I need. I also know I can return any piece I purchase from COOK WOODS that I am not satisfied with, but in ten years, I have always been very pleased with the quality of the woods I have purchased and never returned a single piece of wood received from them.
